Golden Gate Park--Elk Glen Lake

It's tentative but I might visit Cal. and Stanford to watch them battle Florida. Hence I only reserved hotel at Encinitas until the 25th.

But for birding, I'm not expecting much. The only species which is not found here is Chestnut-backed Chickadee lol. So finding that will take precedence over everything.

Still, this place looks interesting: not sure I've spotted American Bittern and Virginial Rail before. In fact I'm aiming to spot AMBI at Salton Sea Unit 1 this weekend.
