Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area is so nice

It's so quite, serene, and moreover, you can spot some interesting birds.

For example following species were spotted from Fall; Chestnut-collared Longspur, Vesper Sparrow, Pine Warbler, White-breasted Nuthatch, Horned Lark, Western Meadowlark, Burrowing Owl, Cackling Goose, Ross's Goose, Greater White-fronted Goose, Gray Flycatcher, Rock Wren, Cactus Wren, and Loggerhead Shrike.

Yeah it's almost like a Prairie or Grass region lol; Those Longspurs, Vesper Sparrows, Larks, Burrowing Owls, and Shrikes are prominent in those areas.

So. California really has everything lol. If I can't go to those Prarie Region, at least I can have a semi-virtual experience here!
