Sylmar birding result / comments on NTI 3rd day results

I really am glad I chose the SFV one instead of the Pasadena one; they didn't find Plumbeous Vireo, and Red-naped Sapsucker either at Sylmar!

Surprised OSU won 3 points. Di Lorenzo and Sanford won, I see; didn't I say, Midwest rules??!!! Lol. Even Anna's lil' sis Alex was very impressive against Robin Anderson(they provide video so could watch it later) at Midland; she actually controlled lots of points with her aggression. Frankly she should've won that match imo, was a tad bigger hitter.
What does this say about college tennis anyway; I never thought Di Lorenzo would win a singles slam. She never was the biggest hitter during juniors; I didn't even watch her match against McKenzie at the National for example, the result being nid(never in doubt).

Anyway OSU even won the dbls point; didn't I say OSU #3 dbls could be formidable? Di Lorenzo was the better doubles player than singles player during juniors imo. Watch out her and Sneed dominate in that position.

Whitney Kay; true winner. Won everything imaginable. MVP in her first NTI win, won NIIC dbls with Carter..massive respect for her of course. Her lob is probably one of the best in the nation now; and covers the backcourt so well, complementing Carter perfectly.

And Aney bageled Garcia at #3...Tar Heels freshmen doing well, I see.
UNC winning the doubles point of course was huge. But UGA #2 dbls Garcia/Brinson did rout Aney/Vialle. That should be a new experience for an elite doubles player like Aney lol; getting bageled? Haha.

==
All top players winning their respective positions; Wagner, Lohan, and Lushkova. Frankly Lushkova should've played #1 imo, because both Wagner and Lushkova plays typical big-babe tennis lol. Both just excellent hitters.
Especially massive efforts by Zheng and Tanielian winning their singles matches; the decider.

==
Tech surprises? again. But I'm not that surprised lol, because I've always praised Valenstein and Maltby's aggression and fabulous forehands. They have power, enough said.
Daniell also doing well, I expect no less :)
And Routliffe/Daniell finally won a match! Haha.

==
Chypyha defeated Ahmed, must've been a heck of a match. :)  And I thought Xepoleas was way more talented than her.. :sigh: (by the way how do you pronounce Chypyha? Lol)
UW lower singles players put up a good effort, I see.

==
Michigan top 3 singles swept, and Kuykendall/Owens finally won a match!

Last matches didn't start yet methinks.
