Now Wilson's Phalarope is spotted, verra convenient. Wonder if I can visit Malibu SP further on, to spot that Indigo Bunting.

Methinks Mayci Jones vs Zoe Katz final, but we'll see how Angela Kulikov fares against Mayci.  Katz section is rather ridiculous with Magill and Saperstein in it.

This is LMU #3 Elvira Juravliova(rising Sophomore)'s singles results last season from ITA. She's seeded #4 this tournament.

Bellis really is going to play college tennis?

http://allabouttennisblog.blogspot.com/2015/06/cici-bellis-hinders-tennis-development.html

I think you are missing the point here.  CiCi isn't a pro and definitely isn't acting like a pro. She has full intention on playing college tennis.

If she goes to Stanford, wonder if she'll do a 'Zhao', playing ITFs into March and only start playing for the team from then on lol. And, will ITA allow that blasphemy to happen again.

On G18 Clay and Hard National player lists

Clay G18

http://tennislink.usta.com/tournaments/TournamentHome/Tournament.aspx?T=168942#&&s=5

Not too many big names. Bolton, Chi, Hand, Alyvia Jones, Li, Zein..

In doubles scene, the biggest news is the sundering of Allen/Kowalski. Kowalski now teamed up with Alyvia Jones, entered both events, Clay and Hard.
Bojczuk/Dunleavy, Brylin/Li, Chiu/Bolton(interesting combo. Bolton won EB with Lommer. Chiu has very good touch), Corse/Zordani, Hand/Shin, Hatton/Martinelli(another interesting team), Kessler/Kurtz, Milunovich/Rogers should be vying for the crown. Otsuka/Jones and Pesavento/Roberts could be good. Wonder who'll team up with Rice.

G16, EB winners Beck/Navarro are the obvious favorite but Cheong/Huang, Cruz team, Eason/O'Dell, Hrastar/Briggs(EB winner Hrastar has Vandy as high interest!), Kourkina/Sorokko(they won Regional USONP I'm told), Lairmore team, Ma/Mossmer, Noel/Stearns, Volynets/Ong could be good. In fact Ma/Mossmer could be a formidable combo(Mossmer just defeated Higuchi at the Sectional, and Ma was very good in doubles during the Spring).

Singles, not sure who can beat Mossmer. Beck, Blake, Campana, Cheong, Eason, Jankowski, Lairmore, Ma, Navarro, Noel, Volynets are other contenders.

==================

National G18

Still far away but already many big names on the applicants list;

Arconada, Black, Coopersmith(never seen her before, but she had some impressive ITF results), Day, Desiatnikov, Dolehide, Douglas, Frenkel(concentrating on ITF, also posted some impressive results), Kenin, Kingsley, Liu, McNally, Neel, Sanford..

(EDIT; Anisimova entered as well)

Miller and Minor fresh from their freshman year.

Sophia Patel, from NC. After reading Paul Theroux's informative travelogue Deep South, I think I can guess where she come from..haha(joke, but the Patels are ubiquitous in the Deep South, monopolizing the Inn business).

Day with Dolehide(Day played with Kenin before), Choy with Anzo are interesting pairings.

(EDIT; Arconada/Frenkel is another interesting pairing. Hart/Shibahara of course a strong contender)

Arconada, Coppoc, Douglas, Graham, Kenin, McNally, Minor, Neel, Sanford, Subhash(with Li again?) entered as well. Black didn't enter, she won with Neel before. Day/Dolehide seem to be an obvious frontrunner, but Kenin and Neel team will be of course perennial favorites. Wonder who'll team up with them. Also Joyce.

G16

In addition to Clay participants, Gadalov, Gallagher, two Goldsmiths, Haynes, Lim, Subhash, Taggart should be contenders.

Goldsmith/Zein could be good. Brylin/Lim could be one of the top contenders.

===
Has Pothoff played at all recently? Is she injured or what.

Sara Choy wins USONP Nor. Cal

Open National Playoffs/Women's Sectional Qualifying
F (2) Sara Choy d. (1) Jada Hart 7-6(4); 6-0
SF (2) Sara Choy d. (3) Katie Volynets 6-3; 7-5
SF (1) Jada Hart d. (8) Jessica Perez 6-1; 6-4
Q (2) Sara Choy d. (7) Darya Possokhova 6-1; 6-0
Q (3) Katie Volynets d. (6) Jamie Pawid 6-3; 6-3
Q (8) Jessica Perez d. Elena Van Linge 6-7(4); 6-2; 6-2
Q (1) Jada Hart d. MaryBeth Martinez 6-1; 6-1

Just shows that Choy is one of the best hitters out there.
And vide Volynets defeating Pawid..!
Shibahara only played doubles, and won with Hart.

Dewire/Dunleavy def. Daavettila/Jones

Happened during Fed Cup last year

Girls' 18 Doubles
Daavettila, Sara Jones, Alyvia vs Dunleavy, Caroline Dewire, Madeline 8-3 2

Last day's match and I missed this. Should be one of the biggest upsets. Dunno how is this result possible lol. Dunleavy is teaming up with Bojczuk this time; both goes to UND.
