This bird was flying far away across Duckbill. Dark on the upper wing and a rather black looking cap make me think it was a Common, but it was far and the bright light was brutal, so I'll leave it for someone else to identify.

Continuing from yesterday in the tamarisks near the NE outlet of Big Piute. Plain dusty gray overall, slightly paler below. Whiter on the belly. Yellow undertail coverts. Consistent with immature plumage. White eye ring. Lots of tail wagging and active feeding. Chipped once: clear and sharp like a Nashville but maybe less metallic.
