2017 ISC 3/21 Singles scores & Doubles recap

Couldn't resist the temptation to watch doubles lol. Hope it clears by 5:30(egad..!)

Needless to say couldn't watch any singles match, I was being rejuvenated/massaged/kneeded to death then lol.

Jennifer GADALOV (USA) 6-2 6-4 Emilee DUONG (USA)

Vivian CHENG (USA) 6-1 7-5 Katie VOLYNETS (USA)

Upset of the tournament?

Hurricane Tyra BLACK (USA) [11] 6-1 6-2 Luba VASILYUK (USA)
Carolyn CAMPANA (USA) 2-6 6-4 6-3 Natsumi KAWAGUCHI (JPN)
Annette GOULAK (USA) 6-3 6-3 Chloe HAMLIN (USA)
Alexandra VAGRAMOV (CAN) 6-3 6-7(1) 6-2 Elvina KALIEVA (USA)

Lea MA (USA) 6-1 4-6 7-5 Anna CAMPANA (USA)

Impressive by Anna..

Nicole MOSSMER (USA) [10] 6-1 6-3 Mei Xu WU (CHN)

Nicole is the type of player others hate to play. Wu might've imploded as well.

Vanessa ONG (USA) [16] 6-0 6-1 Regina PITTS (USA)

I need to watch Ong.

Coach Sell was present as usual, and this time coach Toledo was there so said hello. He watched Beck/Flores vs Hewitt/Zein and also Forbes/Hamlin vs Arango/Mandlink.

1st Round

Carson BRANSTINE (CAN) / Ellie DOUGLAS (USA) [1] 6-1 6-2 Victoria EMMA (USA) / Mccartney KESSLER (USA)

I didn't think Ellie was particularly good in doubles, but in this match she was. Nice passing and all. Car as usual dominated the net. I see that this match was already in the later stage when I arrived, too bad(scoreboard not working? and all).

Sophia GRAVER (USA) / Grace JOYCE (USA) 7-5 6-3 Jimena RODRIGUEZ-BENITO (USA) / Alexandra TUTECKY (CAN)

Grace good as usual, Graver wasn't bad either. T again impressed with her sharp play.

Chloe BECK (USA) / Victoria FLORES (USA) 6-0 7-5 Dalayna HEWITT (USA) / Marlee ZEIN (USA) [8]

Tough luck for Beck/Flores, they did play well when I watched, Beck defending well, and Flores volleying. Hewitt/Zein also defends very well, they'll be hard to beat.

Wait Beck/Flores WON? For real??!!
